Ministry Support Team
The Ministry Support Team is an umbrella term for two separate teams that shall meet separately from each other to perform different but complementary roles. While the following individuals shall be voted on together at Church Conference, they shall function as two teams. Additionally, the chairs of both the Transforming and Sustaining Teams shall meet monthly with the senior pastor to evaluate his/her progress toward personal goals, as well as to coordinate the work of the two teams.
Transforming Team
The Transformation Team shall help identify annual church-wide goals; work with the senior pastor and other staff to develop processes for achieving such goals; and provide monthly focus, leadership, and evaluation on how such processes are progressing. When needed, the Transformation Team shall also serve as the Staff-Parish Relations Committee (for purposes of staff evaluations and salary recommendations), as well as the church Council (for purposes of making decisions for the church as a whole).

Sustaining Team
The Sustaining Team shall meet at least quarterly to work with the senior pastor and other staff to provide lay leadership and accountability in the areas of finances, stewardship, budget setting, and physical facilities. When needed, the Sustaining Team shall serve as the finance Committee for purposes of budget-setting, property, investment matters and stewardship.
